Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Case (USB‑C) – White

I have been using the Airpods (Gen 1) for better part of two years and never felt the need to upgrade to Gen 2. The pro ones, however, are a different beast. The feature packed earphones are a huge step up from the normal airpods and I can’t recommend these enough. The noise cancellation feature, although not as efficient as the over ear headphones or even maybe WF1000XM3 are still brilliant in their execution. You dont feel the cabin pressure and the ANC feels organic. Sound quality is better than the OG airpods and ANC makes the experience better but again these are not going to be the industry leaders for sound quality. The call quality was good and similar to the airpods normal version. Transparency mode is basically having a microphone attached to your earphones for hearing your surroundings even more clearly. I dont find much use for that mode but maybe cyclists and runners will appreciate this option to steer clear of people and vehicles.

All in all, a great product and must buy if you want a set of earphones for your iphone which are wireless and offer ANC support. If listening to music is your only preference then I suggest the Sony WF1000XM3 ANC earphones.

They feel a lot snugger, 100% worth it.

Very happy with my purchase. I went with the Anker Liberty Air 2 to save cost but returned it in two days and bought this and can easily justify the extra dollars.

AirPods Pro fits better and I don’t feel the weight although they are heavier on paper.

Airpods are less visible and the design blends well, Ankers are very prominent with its long stems sticking out. Anker pods and charging case look very premium in comparison.

Anker caused pain in my ears, Airpods is truly like wear and forget.

Noise cancellation in airpods is too good to be true (I have qc30 Bose which I am benchmarking here)

Neither of the two proved good for me during workouts. Kept falling.

Airpods biggest win for me is its seamless connectivity. They just worked out of the box straight away and so does the 5 USD counterfeits my son has. Anker failed in that respect Big time and it was my major gripe. It just wouldn’t pair both pods. It did in the end but who has time. Portability and convenience is what one expect when spending so much.

I bought them just for the calls and I guess they both do a good job but I like Airpods better. They pickup whispers.

I am not into music but they both sound reasonable.

Airpods look cheaply finished and I will have to invest on some case.

Fitting: These are definitely a better fit than previous Airpods. The stem is shorter and the new silicon tips are excellent at fitting nicely in the ear. Because of this, they seem to be less intrusive and they certainly feel more secure in the gym. I have been to the gym for an hour every day since I got these and I have had no issues with sweat or them popping out and I tend to use the elliptical trainer so for me … that’s a big plus.

Operation: Again one of the big tests for any Bluetooth connectivity is walking through one of the main London train stations …. there are literally thousands of headphones, phones, computers, and other gadgets swamping the Bluetooth frequencies and a lot of even really good headsets break down causing unwanted pauses or gaps in music tracks … not here … perfect synch and no problems with interference.
The new method of control on these is to squeeze the stems. Remember I said the stems were shorter? well, this is the first negative aspect I came across. The squeezing of the stems is a bit fiddly at first and that’s standing still … I’m going, to be honest, and say if you do anything active like rowing, cycling, jogging … you’re probably going to have to stop and make any adjustments.

However one of the great new features of these Airpods is the new ear check sound feature. Basically, on an app on your phone, you send a bust of music to the AirPods and they analyze the acoustics of your ear and then tell you if you have the best fit … so you can change the silicon tips until you get no only what feels good to you but what the app says is the best fit. Now that’s pretty slick … but you’ll probably only ever use it once … after all your ear probably won’t change shape.

Features: Well the obvious goto is the Noise Cancelling… Is it any good? Yes. Good enough at this price, probably not as good as some of the pricier headsets and buds by Bose but good enough. They also have that nice feature where you can squeeze the leg and the music drops so you can hear what people are saying to you without having to remove the Airpod. Battery life is good as well. 5 hours say Apple. Yup, that’s fair. 19 more from the case. Again I seem to get values similar to that. I think there are a number of earbuds (Cambridge … Melomania?) that have longer playtimes but I can’t see me needing more than 24 hours … you have to sleep so re-charge them then.

MUSIC QUALITY: So here’s the big question … Are they good enough at this price? Well, I have to say YES. If you have read my other reviews you know I test B&W, M&G, B&O, Bose, Shure, even Grado. and these deserve their place right up there. That ear tip test and the new improved chip from apple (according to the blurb) really do make these exceptional. The bass is really nice and smooth and not harsh and banging as you get from some earbuds that just try to overwhelm you using your ear duct. The detail is great as well… nothing is lost.

Verdict: I really do like these … I’m a little bit nervous because they are lighter than most buds and you really do forget you’re wearing them and although I know they are really secure after bouncing about all over the place they still make me nervous they’ll fall out. I don’t want to imagine losing a bud and having to replace these at this price. However, as each day passes I enjoy them more and trust their fit. I think these are going to be a big hit and they are definitely a major improvement.

Firstly I was confused after I saw few reviews which stated non genuine product or Pre activated. But I still went for it and I can confirm it’s 100% genuine product. If u search the serial number of the product on apples websites it might not find it but u can just login to your Apple ID, enter the items serial number and purchase date. It will get activated and you will receive the normal Apple 1 year warranty.

I absolutely love my AirPods. It is very easy to figure out if it’s fake or not on the iOS 16 since the new feature allows you to identify if you AirPods are genuine or not when you connect them. Those showed as genuine and this was certified by Apple. The seal was the original seal and the serial number worked.

I have ordered AIRPODS PRO 2nd generation and got them next day with good packaging and the quality of air pods is just awesome the best part is about the noise cancellation feature which is awesome.

I like the bass on this one compare with the first.

I avoided using airpods for a while but when i did try them, they were amazing. Spatial audio is excellent and works well. So does the noise cancellation. You may not be able to use the airpods in very noisy surroundings for calls, but thats fine as it still does a better job than rest of the competing products.

If you don’t have it, you can not feel it

As much as I hate other apple products, this isn’t one of them.

It’s the best TWS (true wireless set) ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) headphone in the market and I even prefer it over the Samsung galaxy buds 2 pro which as I am writing this review is less than half the price of the APP2. Comfort wise it’s great as the shell is small, the nozzle is none existent so what is around your ear canal will only be the tips. With the XS sized tips they can fit without discomfort in my tiny ears which is a bonus over the previous iteration of the device.

The sound quality is great for a TWS IEM as it’s very “neutral” even better than the airpods max. The airpods max is a horrible product but this is an airpods pro 2 review. It improves upon everything that the original airpods pro did but kept the same exterior look aside from this black strip that is used to controls such as: pause and play, switching from active noise cancelling or to transparency mode.

My biggest complaint about it as an android phone user is the exclusive features that you get on IOS devices that you can’t even access through normal means unless you go out of your way to download Assistant Trigger or Airbattery to do things as simple as to check the battery life on your airpods which is tedious. Despite all of this I still highly recommend it even if you are on andorid.

The ANC and transparency modes are uncontested in the TWS IEM space, the sound is the best from a TWS IEM, wired IEMS at the same price point and even less sound better however and nothing can beat a good headphone aside from speakers but you are buying this for the form factor and noise isolation.

if you don’t mind how uncomfortable IEMs can get and just want to isolate noise as much as possible, the Etymotic IEMs (ER2,ER3,ER4 personal preference is the ER2XR) are good for that purpose but they are far from being as coinvent as any TWS.

Original product without any doubt. The feature is amazing especially noise cancellation is cool and of course sound is improved than before. Overall amazing.

Nothing comes close to it, especially in the Apple ecosystem
